T. Allen Mott is of counsel to Cowie Law Group, P.C. Mr. Mott is available to assist Cowie Law Group in its representation of clients in litigation and transactional matters. Mr. Mott has assisted the attorneys at Cowie Law Group in connection with some of the firm’s many cases involving protracted multi-party lawsuits, frequently on behalf of condominium associations against developers for construction defects.
On the transactional side, Mr. Mott has assisted the attorneys at Cowie Law Group in connection with representing developers in a variety of matters, including land acquisition, financing, leasing, loan workouts and corporate structuring. He has worked with the lawyers at Cowie Law Group as legal counsel in large scale apartment to condominium conversion projects. Apart from construction and real estate, Mr. Mott has worked with the attorneys at Cowie Law Group and other firms in businesses in transactional matters and complex disputes involving officer and director liability, shareholder and partnership disputes, business fraud, toxic tort, legal malpractice, and unfair competition. In addition to representing developers, Mr. Mott has assisted Nicholas D. Cowie and Cowie Law Group with the firm’s faith-based organizational clients in the acquisition, funding and construction of church construction and renovation/expansion/sale projects.
