Biography:
Albert McCarraher joined Cowie Law Group in 2019 after more than ten years of experience in civil litigation, consumer protection, and construction defect cases at a general practice law firm in Baltimore. He has litigated hundreds of cases before the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland. Mr. McCarraher also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Finifter in the Circuit Court of Maryland for Baltimore County.
Mr. McCarraher is admitted to practice before the courts of the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland, including the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. He graduated magna cum laude in the top 3% of his class from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2006, where he was an editor for the Journal of Environmental Law. Prior to law school, Mr. McCarraher was employed at the Bechtel Corporation, a worldwide leader in engineering and construction, and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (2001).
Mr. McCarraher is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Baltimore City Bar Association, and also serves as a member of the Medfield Community Association’s Zoning and Land Use Committee.
